My clients typically say they feel safe, seen, and appreciate that I am authentic in my gentle observations and validation.
Sessions with me are full of non-judgemental acceptance as we explore where you are at and where you want to be. Sometimes, we laugh; but, often I hold sacred space for you to express feelings and anything your body/mind or spirit is trying to make sense of or integrate.
I believe that trauma, whether it seems small or big to you, is at the root of most mental health difficulties. Instead of behavior issues or symptoms, I look at how and why those things helped you survive in the past and where you want to be today.
I offer a safe place to learn more about your nervous system, and ways we can either calm anxiety or add more life so you feel less stuck...or maybe a little bit of both!

I have provided therapeutic care all over the mental health industry including a hospital inpatient setting for adolescents and their families coping with addiction, to schools, equine farms, to the wellness industry where clients want specific goals to lose weight, cope with stress, relationships, or handle anxiety-provoking situations.
Outside of work, I live with an energetic family- my husband, daughter, three dogs, two cats, and a horse. We enjoy the western slope of Colorado where we ride horses (well, mainly my daughter), explore trails, and enjoy Mexican and Sicilian Italian food.
